Learning Made Awesome!

Welcome to the happy corner of online education!

I am a research scientist who has been in the research field for the past 17 years. I specialize in microbiology and molecular biology where I had the opportunity to teach and explore exciting research projects at universities. I graduated with a degree in microbiology in 2009 and have also held a doctorate (PhD) in molecular biology since 2014 from the University of Nottingham.

I've always had a passion for teaching, and I believe that sharing knowledge is the key foundation for having amazing science breakthroughs. I’m dedicated to making complex subjects exciting and accessible for students, helping them build confidence and achieve success.

Building my lesson library has been a heartfelt personal journey. At every step, I've kept the memory of my own student days, remembering what it felt like to look for guidance. My goal has always been to become the ideal tutor I once wished for—someone who doesn't just pass down science facts but breathes life into them and sparks a lifelong curiosity. I am here to help students through the journey of learning and spark a passion for science.

I have been tutoring for the past 4 years and have taught many students from GCSE level to university level during my career. I have recently completed my lesson library for GCSE Science, which consists of 95 lessons. My lesson library strictly follows the national curriculum of topics across all exam boards.

During the first lesson, we can identify the subject areas that require covering. This session serves as a warm introduction for our student-tutor team building. Each lesson is carefully planned with an overview of the topic. We develop understanding at each stage, followed by example exam questions to enhance the experience of tackling exam questions. Please feel free to contact me to discuss how I can support your child’s learning. I'm now registering new students for the next academic year starting in September 2026.
